CCI has recently been awarded an additional 24 miles of 72″ welded steel pipe around Carrington, North Dakota.
The three new Red River Valley Transmission Main Contracts: 6B, 6C, and 7A, will run East from the 6A project currently under construction. These new miles will continue through the prairie pothole region requiring dewatering methods and erosion protection techniques employed successfully by CCI on the previous two contracts. Again, CCI will be working hand in hand with the project Owner, Garrison Diversion and Lake Agassiz Water, as well as the project engineer Black & Veatch on this vital water transmission project.
With the additional 24 miles of continuous pipeline, CCI will remain in the area well into 2030, adhering to strict installation quality guidelines while maintaining excellent relationships with the local landowners and stakeholders. Although an extremely intricate and challenging environment to work in, CCI crews will continue to install this large diameter pipeline with the same high standard of quality, safety, and efficiency cultivated over the past 35 years within North Dakota and the pipeline industry
